My Mission:

My Mission: To display my Love as often as possible. This is for me. This will help me document the things I'd rather not forget. Love will manifest in many forms, and posting it online will allow me to share it with others for years to come.

Xanadu. Seriously. And yoga.

This show is such a light in my life right now. Money issues, stuff & things, mental static....Xanadu fixes ALL of it. I look forward to rehearsal every day, and it FLIES by every day. I think about it, and I grin. I have stuff I could be complaining about, but none of it even registers in the Xanadu "neon lights" ....which shine for me.

Yoga!

I have long suspected that yoga would be the secret to a happy life for me. Not that my life's not happy. But I know that it's super good for you, and I totally believe in all of the philosophy behind it. I believe in the chakras, flow of energy, etc etc...I have a yoga class now, and it's completely amazing. It makes me feel SOOOooooo good, even when it is super difficult. When I'm done, I walk away feeling strong, connected, and happy. Steph and I had a night class last night, and it was completely insane. Little did we know that it was a Bikram class....so it was super hot and sweaty. I definitely saw spots. I think I saw a ghost. I probably saw Jesus. I saw lots of things, and I was in some crazy place....but I felt like I was reborn after that class.

Oh, and I love my car. I don't have a picture of her, but I have gone without my little Lola for over a week...and not having a car is awful.

Peace and Love

Nieces and Nephews!

Today, I love my family. Especially the little babies. All three of my step brothers have kids, and I hardly ever get to see them! Kurt and Kristie are moving back to Utah soon, to Ogden even! This means I'll get to watch Kamri all the time! How lucky am I?!

Devin and Shilo live in West Virginia with their daughter, Kindred. She's already 3 and a half! I've missed so much. She knows who I am, though. They do a real good job of not letting her forget who her favorite uncle is. ;) This is a picture of her, and her sassy new nails.

Cameron is my cute little guy, brought to you by my brother Quinn. Cam lives with his mom in Brigham City. I don't get to see him nearly enough, either! Quinn is off doing his residency in Cincinatti. This is an older picture of Cam, but still a great one. He's beautiful!

These cute little kids make me so happy! I really wish I could see them more, but I savor every moment I get with them. Hopefully, everyone will come back to Utah so I can see them allllll the time! :D

Oh, and COMING SOON:

I got this picture in a text from someone in my life: I won't say who because they haven't released this information to the public yet. Only the very special people know at this point. Once they release a statement, I'll release the names. But for now, I have to protect the innocent.

The caption on this picture said "You aint seein' double!" That's right, I get TWINS in my life soon! So so so excited.

Babies are cool. I want one someday! Maybe two or three!

My sister, my friends, and my bleeding heart.

My sister is in town! Julie is in town! We closed Urinetown! I'm really grateful for how many AMAZING people I have in my life...even when I let myself get a little carried away. My heart gets a little too wrapped up in...shows, people it shouldn't, nostalgia, dreams, and any manner of things I probably shouldn't focus on. This may not make a lot of sense to anyone else at the moment, but it does to me! I've run the gamut of emotional highs and lows over the past couple of weeks, and—looking around—I'm really glad that I'm capable of feeling so much. While it's kind of exhausting, I think it's a lot better than the alternative.

Emilee, Chad, Frozen Pizza, Double-Stuffed Oreos, Kick-Ass, Wet Hot American Summer, Easy A, The Voice.

Tonight was much needed, and quite therapeutic. I did next to nothing. Well, sort of. Emilee and I went to Smith's and bought junk food. We stumbled upon a spell that would make anything we ate today not count as consumed calories! Cool, huh? I guess it was more of a potion:

Sour Cream and Cheddar Ruffles
Salt and Pepper Kettle Chips
Dill Pickle Dip
Tony's Frozen Pizzas (4 - of any variety.)
Double-Stuf Oreos
Winder Dairy Vitamin D Milk
And finally, Instant Netflix (In my findings, Netflix comes up quite often. Magical properties are abundant, and still largely unidentified.)

And so, we rearranged the furniture to accommodate minimal movement and optimal view of the big TV in my mom's living room. We proceeded to watch:

Then, Chad joined us and we watched...

And....

And then Em had to leave part way through...

We laughed, we cried from laughing, all that good stuff. And nobody got fatter! Magic exists, y'all. ;)

I love all these things, these people, and times like this. And so, tomorrow, back to Urinetown! Can't wwwwwwwait! I love the show, and everyone involved.

Keep on Lovin'

The Pixar Story

Again with the Netflix....I swear I love things other than music and movies...but this was just so good! Reminds me of the days I wanted to be an Animator. I'm sure a huge part of me still does. Anyway.

I LOVE The Pixar Story.

Brandi Carlile Live at Benaroya Hall

This album is GENIUS. And yes, I love it. I'm sure Brandi will make many more appearances around here. Like in June, for example, when I get to see her play with Ray Lamontagne!

I love good music.

"Barton Hollow"

Today, I love this song:

I heard it at the gym, and it got me all amped up. So, thanks goes to 24 Hour Fitness for having a TV on top of the stairclimber, Vh1 for playing music videos for 2 hours in the morning, and The Civil Wars for this little gem. :)

I love "Barton Hollow" by The Civil Wars!

"Bones"

It's pretty much...just a good show! Sexual tension up the wazoo, pretty people being intelligent and solving crimes, streaming instantly into my home?! Sign me up! I guess this is a "Today, I Love Netflix" shout out, then, too. This has been a relatively recent discovery for me. TV is one of many vices, but I will NOT call it a guilty pleasure. I had an epiphany—not too long ago—that as a performer, writer, designer, etc...I think of good TV as art. So much of the same work I love to do every day goes into TV too! All good things, in moderation. Bones brings balance to my universe.

I love Bones. And Netflix.

"For the Bible Tells Me So."

Today, I watched this beautiful documentary again. If you haven't seen it, you should. Documentaries about spirituality/religion/sexual orientation/etc. are quite often plagued with absolutes. This one, however, simply speaks. I cry every time I watch it, if even just a little. Anyone, from any walk of life, can learn from this. I'm glad I saw it when I first did, and I wish I would've seen it when I needed it most. It's also refreshing to see it again now, and see that the climate has changed in the world of Equal Rights. It's getting better! This film is so positive, all-inclusive, and effective...I want to share it with anyone who is willing to listen!

I love "For the Bible Tells Me So"
